Attorney Profile of David L. Reinman

David L. Reinman, Esq. is an attorney and mediator. He was raised in Piscataway, NJ. Mr. Reinman served four years in the United States Marine Corps as a Legal Services Specialist, assisting service members and their families with various legal issues. His tour of duty saw him stationed in places such as Rhode Island, Hawaii, and Thailand.  Mr. Reinman has experience in areas such as entertainment law, intellectual property, business planning, landlord/tenant, criminal expungement, and estate planning, among other areas.

Mr. Reinman has an A.S. in Criminal Justice from Chaminade University of Honolulu, and a B.A. in Criminal Justice from Rutgers University in New Brunswick, NJ. Mr. Reinman obtained his J.D. from California Western School of Law in San Diego, CA. He is currently attending Benjamin N. Cardozo School of Law under a Dean’s Merit Scholarship, and is enrolled in the Dispute Resolution LL.M. Program.

Mr. Reinman has owned and operated a talent management company providing personal management services to music artists. Further, he spent several years working as a concert/social event promoter in San Diego, CA. While attending law school, he gained valuable legal experience as an intern dealing with disputes involving copyright law, talent agency-fashion model agreements, among other areas in civil litigation.

Aside from his extensive study of mediation, Mr. Reinman is certified as a Family and Divorce Mediator in New York. In addition, he has volunteered his time at the U.S. Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC) in the Mediation Department, where he assisted federal mediators in the mediation of employment discrimination disputes.

Mr. Reinman is licensed to practice law in both New York and New Jersey. He is a member of the American Bar Association. He is also a member of the Dispute Resolution Section, and the Entertainment, Arts, and Sports Section, of the New York State Bar Association.
